Re: Whats new??
Also Snoopy and CO came up with the BuildingBlock idea. That is just the FPK of one Good or One industry and the necessary XML file, and the mapmaker can pick it off, so to speak from the shelves. Well, for each BuildingBlock a suitable chunk of code for the NSIS stuff could be written as well to a...

Re: Whats new??
Very interesting read for sure. I will also be trying out a few of the new maps that have been posted here. Probably will stay clear of SAMs as I dont really like the idea of only having one custom map at a time. As for a post I saw on here stating that some of the old installers/maps/etc were remov...

Re: Sid Meier's Railroads! Express!
Pros: +Mappers now have much more control over how the player starts. +Perfect map specific XMl sets can be swaped out before map load allowing for more stability. +Auto update as well as a stream lined map delivery system. This all sounds good... +While more than one start location would exist in ...

The patch simply allows the game to support larger than a 10x10 grid map. Beyond that though the game does not necessarily have a fixed limit (just hardware limits to the size of the map). People have created 20x20 maps (Florida Gold is one). Compare the 17x17 minimap to the 20x20 minimap and you wi...

There are no errors in SMRI, the errors are in us users. I hope this will help. Thanks ! There have been a few minor problems noticed, but most of them are very very minor things. In all, this game is really insane with the amount of things that have to fall into place properly otherwise it goes bo...

Then reinstall SMRI. Except instead of just uninstalling SMRI, uninstall any additional mods you m...
