I suggest reading about the 3GB Enabler and how to install maps manually or use the SMR Map Shifter.
It turns out that there was a bug in the HTML for the Shanghai map that left a div open when it should have been closed. Firefox compensated for this and the website looked fine. Since I normally do not visit the site in chrome, and I never open IE, I totally missed the bug. Said browsers though decided not to pretend that everything was ok and caused the sidebar to fly to the bottom of the page.
I have since fixed the bug. Kudos to Google Chrome team for including a Developer tool similar to Firebug, it saved me a lot of time. I should note that this is not a browser bug.
So what do you guys think of it?
For those interested it features the font “Railway” produced by the awesome league of movable type.

If you are interested in history here is a Wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austria-Hungary
The map is a 15X15 SAM. 96 turns/month.
The names of the cities are from a contemporary Rand McNally map, many of them changed several times during the span of the past 100 years.
There are three Eras, with three different scenario goals. It will be necessary to rearrange the rail lines.
The third Era is: World War I. It is a rather Since the game has 3 different Eras, with different goals, I made separate independent scenarios from each Era: Increased the duration WWI to five years (I changed it from 4, poetic license!) so you have to be prepared for the switch. Be sure to have empty building slots to “build a War industry”.

This is the Fourth Age of Tolkien’s Middle Earth.
You will note that the Hobbit and all the other small folks are rather peace-loving people, who are fond of two things: beer and gold.
The terrain is wild, there have been several catastrophic upheavals in the past, but the industrious people of the land overcame it and built passes through the un-passable wilderness and are prospering.
The game is a single player 12 X 12 map. There are scenario goals, but making money is not one of them. (The rush to make money always interferes with the proper track building) I tried to make a map to emphasize the smart track layout. The tunnels are very expensive, but there are on-grade passes through the mountains to make the track laying a possible. It is like building a model railroad. The time allotted for the scenario 4 Eras should be more than enough.
